The ADK 3 "Bleichert" was one of the first slewing car cranes to be produced in the GDR by the Soviet company " Bleichert Transportanlagen-Fabrik Leipzig SAG " after the Second World War . It was further modified and developed into the ADK 5 "Bleichert". Other types derived from ADK 3 "Bleichert" were created on tracked and rail vehicles.

ADK 3 "Bleichert"

This diesel-electric 3-tonne crane was initially delivered to the Soviet Union as a reparation service as a crane construction kit from 1948 . There the crane was known as "Блейхерт" (Bleichert). The kit was assembled on chassis of the types ZIS-5 , ZIS-150 , ZIS-151 , ZIL-164 and Studebaker US6 in various plants in the Soviet Union . Many of these plants then developed similar cranes such as the diesel-electric crane "ДЭК-51".

In 1952, the Bleicher company began developing a crane in the form of a semi-trailer in cooperation with IFA Chemnitz, the Ernst Grube Werk Werdau and the Hunger-trailer and vehicle construction company Frankenberg. An H3A commercial vehicle was installed as the tractor unit, and the superstructure of the ADK 3 "SIS" was mounted on the semi-trailer. The drive and control were electrical, and external power supply was possible. The crane train 3 was only built once.

The production of the "ADK 3 H3A Bleichert" based on the IFA H3A truck began in Leipzig around 1954 . The motor vehicle factory "Ernst Grube" Werdau supplied the SW12 chassis, which was provided with supports for stationary operation. A generator with its power current and an output of 19 kVA at 1500 rpm ensured the functionality of the individual units. The hoist had a 6 kW unit, the motor of the drawing-in mechanism had an output of 2.5 kW and the slewing mechanism was driven by a 1.6 kW motor.

For the military, the crane superstructure was built on the IFA G5 all-wheel drive truck from 1953 (not to be confused with the ADK III / 3-G5 , which was also mounted on the G5).

ADK 5 "Bleichert"

With the chassis of the IFA H6 and an additional counterweight, it was possible to increase the load capacity of the crane based on the ADK 3 to 5 t with a 2.5 m radius. The rope mechanical ADK 5 could only move the load stationary, however, driving with the load was not permitted. It took 27 seconds to raise the boom. The crane could be rotated 360 degrees, but under load it was only possible to rotate about 270 degrees in the rear area. The maximum radius was 5.5 m with 1.2 t, the lifting height was 6.5 m. The crane could either be operated via the vehicle's own generator or an AC power connection. Between 1954 and 1957, 60 ADK 5 H6 “Bleichert” automobile cranes were built.

RK 3 "Mitschurin"

The crawler crane 3 "Mitschurin" also consisted of the superstructure of the ADK 3. The Bleichert company built 507 units between 1953 and 1960. Another 170 units were then sold by VEB Förderanlagen “7. October “ Magdeburg produced. The RK 3/1 model was also built there in a number of 255 from 1963 to 1965. The crawler crane 3 was powered by a cable.
