The Autozentrum P & A-Preckel is a German group of companies that is active in the automotive trade. It essentially consists of Autozentrum P & A GmbH and Preckel GmbH & Co. KG , both based in Krefeld . The car dealership group with ten locations in North Rhine-Westphalia (including Automeile Höherweg in Düsseldorf ) is an authorized dealer for eleven car brands: Renault , Alpine , Dacia , Nissan , Infiniti , Fiat , Fiat Professional, Alfa Romeo , Abarth , Jeep and Kia .

Autozentrum P & A-Preckel is one of the 20 largest car dealer groups in Germany in terms of new cars sold (16th place in 2017 after 20th place in the previous year).

history

The company's history began in 1924 with the purchase of a Karmann body shop, in which, among other things, coaches were manufactured. The company has been a Renault dealer since 1950, and other brands followed later.

The company headquarters, acquired in 1924 on Virchowstrasse in the Krefeld district of Dießem - has since been expanded - to this day. The company building between Ritterstrasse and Virchowstrasse in Krefeld once housed the Siempelkamp machine factory .
