The Avroleva Heights (English; Bulgarian възвишения Авролева waswischenija Avrolewa ) are a mostly icy and up to 1100 m high mountain range on the Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It extends north-south over a length of 7.3 km from Hill Bay to Swetowratschene Glacier and east-west over 7.3 km from Mitchell Point to Doriones Saddle . The latter connects the mountains with the Taran Plateau in the Stribog Mountains . Its steep north and east slopes are partly ice-free.
British scientists mapped Avroleva Heights in 1980 and 2008. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2015 after a medieval name for a mountain in southeastern Bulgaria .
