Axel Tüting

Axel Tüting (born August 5, 1957 in Hanover ), occasionally used pseudonym Diogenes , is a German cabaret artist , mime artist , actor and author who deals with the subject of BDSM .

Life

From 1981 to the mid-1990s, Tüting worked as a freelance artist and pantomime, among other things he learned pantomime from Samy Molcho . During this time he appeared, for example, at the Theatertage Hannover (1982) and the Kulturtage Wiesbaden (1986), was co-organizer of the "Artists for Peace" in Hannover (1985/1986) and took on a leading role in the rock revue days, the like wounds burn by Klaus-Peter Wolf . In 1989 a tour through the GDR followed .

In 1997 he came into contact with the now defunct BDSM organization “SM meets Hanover” (SMbH) and founded the working group “SM and Culture”. Until 1999 he appeared as an SM pantomime in Hanover and published his first satires under his pseudonym Diogenes in the cultural newspaper PriSMa, for which he was also responsible.

In October 2000 he was the first to appear in the BDSM genre as a theater cabaret artist with the program That hurts . Appearances in German-speaking countries followed, e.g. B. at SMart Rhein-Ruhr and Libertine Vienna , an Austria tour and joint events with other scene artists such as Leander Sukov . His second program level? -Lot! premiered on April 1, 2005, but was taken off the program after two appearances. It only appears in excerpts in the current program.

In 2003 his book Satyre was published . In 2004 he appeared in the documentary We live ... SM! by Gerhard Stahl , with whom he shared the DVD magazine Tabubruch? published. In 2007 Tüting's first satirical show Radiophobie was broadcast on BDSM radio Schlag-Ready.

Tüting now lives in Bruchsal and, in addition to his artistic work, also works as a computer scientist and developer. On July 4, 2008 his new program The Perfect Slave premiered.
