Axel Zinowsky

Axel Zinowsky (* 1952 ) is a German jazz musician ( guitar and composition ).

Live and act

Zinowsky studied classical guitar with Reinbert Evers at the Musikhochschule Detmold (Münster department) . In the 1980s he was the first guitarist to teach jazz guitar at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen. He then became a lecturer for guitar at the Musikhochschule Münster . He also gives concerts with the Axel Zinowsky Quartet named after him (with Thomas Hufschmidt , Sascha Oeing and Jochen Welle).

Zinwosky released two CDs under his own name. There are also numerous other collaborations, such as with the singer Nikola Materne (Band Bossanoire ), the saxophonist Wolfgang Bleibel and the singer Norbert Gottschalk . Some of his compositions were also published, such as B. "Hommage a Bach".
