The Ay is a river in France that runs in the Manche department in the Normandy region . It rises under the name Champaux on the municipal boundary of La Vendelée and Gratot , generally drains north to northwest, reaches the Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin Regional Nature Park and flows 33 kilometers at Saint-Germain-sur-Ay in the Havre bay of the same name de Saint-German-sur-Ay in the English Channel .
