Muneville-le-Bingard is a French municipality with 693 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Coutances and the canton of Agon-Coutainville (until 2015: canton of Saint-Sauveur-Lendelin ). The inhabitants are called Munevillais .
geography
Muneville-le-Bingard is located on the Cotentin Peninsula , about twelve kilometers north-northwest of Coutances , on the Ay River . The Sèves rises in the northeast of the municipality . Muneville-le-Bingard is surrounded by the neighboring communities
- La Feuillie in the north and north-west,
- Millières in the north and northeast,
- Saint-Sauveur-Villages with Vaudrimesnil in the northeast, La Ronde-Haye in the east and Ancteville in the south,
- Gouville sur Mer with Montsurvent in the south and south-west,
- Geffosses in the west,
- Pirou in the northwest.
