Saint-Malo-de-la-Lande is a French municipality with 479 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Manche in the region Normandy (before 2016 Basse-Normandie ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Coutances and the canton of Agon-Coutainville (until 2015 canton of Saint-Malo-de-la-Lande ). The inhabitants are called Malouins .
geography
Saint-Malo-de-la-Lande is located near the Atlantic coast on the Cotentin peninsula , about seven kilometers west-northwest of Coutances . Saint-Malo-de-la-Lande is surrounded by the neighboring communities Blainville-sur-Mer in the north and west, Gratot in the east and north-east, Tourville-sur-Sienne in the south and east and Agon-Coutainville in the south-west.
