Saint-Denis-le-Gast is a commune in the Manche department in the region of Normandy in France with 534 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017). Saint-Denis-le-Gast belongs to the Arrondissement of Coutances and the canton of Quettreville-sur-Sienne (until 2015: canton of Gavray ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Denisais .
geography
Saint-Denis-le-Gast is located about ten kilometers south-southeast in the south of the Cotentin peninsula . The river Sienne limits the municipality to the south. Saint-Denis-le-Gast is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Roncey in the north, Saint-Martin-de-Cenilly in the northeast, Hambye in the east, La Baleine in the east and southeast, Gavray-sur-Sienne with Gavray and Le Mesnil-Amand in the South, Lengronne in the west and Grimesnil in the northwest.
