Ver is a commune in the Manche department in the region of Normandy in France with 374 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017). Ver belongs to the Arrondissement of Coutances and the canton of Quettreville-sur-Sienne (until 2015: Canton Gavray ). The inhabitants are called Vérotins .
geography
Ver is located about 33 kilometers south-southeast of Saint-Lô in the south of the Cotentin peninsula on the Sienne River , into which the Airou flows here. Ver is surrounded by the neighboring communities
- Lengronne in the north,
- Gavray-sur-Sienne with Gavray in the east and Le Mesnil-Amand in the south and south-east,
- La Meurdraquière in the south,
- Le Loreur in the southwest,
- Cérences in the west.
