Montsenelle is a French commune with 1,407 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Manche department in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Coutances and the canton of Créances .
It was created with effect from January 1, 2016 as Commune nouvelle by merging the former municipalities of Lithaire , Coigny , Prétot-Sainte-Suzanne and Saint-Jores , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are located in Lithaire.
