The Azimut Benetti Group is one of the largest yacht manufacturers in the world. Azimut Benetti builds yachts and mega yachts at several locations in Italy . Both the yachts and the mega yachts are series models.
history
In 1969, the student Paolo Vitelli founded Azimut Srl , which rented out sailing boats. The sale of yachts was added in the 1970s. In 1985 Azimut took over the Benetti company, which had been manufacturing boats since 1873, and thus received its own production facilities.
