The Azzam is with a length of almost 181 meters, the second longest private mega yacht in the world.
The owner is Sheikh Chalifa bin Zayid Al Nahyan , President of the United Arab Emirates .
Furnishing
The design of the yacht comes from Nauta Yachts and the interior of Christophe Leoni. The cost was estimated at $ 605 million. The ship took three years to build.
The ship is divided into seven decks. The facilities include two helipads, a mini submarine, a missile defense system, bulletproof glazing, two swimming pools, a cinema, a disco and a saloon with an area of 520 m², which was constructed entirely without supporting pillars.
The two gas turbines combined with two diesel engines should have an output of 94,000 PS (69,137 kW) and enable the ship to travel at speeds of over 30 knots using four water jet propulsion systems.
