Bálint Tóth (actor)

Bálint Tóth (* 1992 in Munich ) is a Hungarian - American actor .

Life

From 2006 to 2011, Bálint Tóth was a member of the youth theater club of the Münchner Kammerspiele during his school days . From 2011 to 2015 he completed his acting studies at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna .

During his training he took part in stage productions at the Reinhardt Seminar, made a guest appearance at the Wiener Festwochen and appeared in Nestroy's burlesque chief Abendwind at the Meggenhofen Festival in summer 2014 .

Bálint Tóth has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Münster Theater since the 2015/16 season . At the beginning of his engagement there he played the male lead in the German premiere of the play The Events by Scottish author David Greig in a production by Frederik Tidén . He also appeared as Muley Hassan in The Fiesco Conspiracy in Genoa (premiere: 2015/16 season, director: Frank Behnke ) and as the title hero Leonce in Leonce and Lena (premiere: 2016/17 season, director: Robert Teufel) the stage.

In the 2017/18 season he played Werther (director: Gregor Tureček ) and Bassanio in The Merchant of Venice (director: Stefan Otteni ). Tóth also played in plays by Lot Vekemans and Georges Feydeau at the Münster Theater . In the 2018/19 season he again played Werther.

In the docu-drama The Invisible - We Want To Live (2017) he played a supporting role as Manfred, who as a colleague of the main character Cioma Schönhaus uses his skills as a passport forger.

Tóth also works as an acting coach and gives workshops. He lives in Münster .
