Bärenhaus is a district of the city of Selb in the district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtel Mountains .

The wasteland is about five kilometers north of the Selber town center not far from the Czech border and was built between 1819 and 1827. It belonged to the former municipality of Lauterbach .
