Selb-Plößberg (before July 6, 1953 Plößberg b. Selb ) is a district of the town of Selb in the district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtelgebirge (northeast Bavaria) in the valley of the Eger .

Selb-Plößberg was incorporated into Selb on January 1, 1978 , together with the localities of Erkersreuth , Heidelheim- Steinselb , Längenau , Lauterbach- Wildenau , Mühlbach , Oberweißbach , Silberbach , Spielberg , Unterweißbach and Vielitz .
