The Bélon is a river in France that runs in the Finistère department in the Brittany region . It rises in the municipality of Bannalec and initially drains in a south-westerly direction, then turns to the south and south-east and flows into the Atlantic Ocean after 26 kilometers at Kerfany les Pins , in the municipality of Moëlan-sur-Mer . Below the village of Pont-Guily, it is already subject to the tides and forms a five-kilometer-long estuary , which is famous for its oyster farming in the upper part .
