Bénédict Remund

Bénédict Remund (born November 30, 1904 in Basel , † February 23, 1993 in Théméricourt , France ) was a Swiss sculptor , painter and draftsman .

life and work

Remund was a versatile artist. So he created u. a. Drawing, paintings, engravings, mosaics, reliefs and tapestries. Some of his works emerged from competitions of the Kunstkredit Basel-Stadt and can be seen in the public space of Basel-Stadt . Remund was a member of Group 33 .
