Bërzhita ( Albanian  also  Bërzhitë ) is a village and a former municipality in the Qark Tirana in Albania .

The village is located south of Tirana on the upper reaches of the Ore . In the west the hills rise around the neighboring village Petrela , in the east the ridge of the Skanderbeggebirge . The A3 autostrada and the SH3 from Tirana to Elbasan run in the valley, which gradually rises towards the Krraba mountains in the south .

As a result of the reorganization of the administrative structure, the municipality became part of Bashkia Tirana in 2015 . The 2011 census counted 4,973 people. The villages of Iba, Iba e Poshtme, Bërzhita, Dobresh, Pëllumbas , Mihajas-Cirma, Kus, Fravesh, Kllojka, Pashkashesh, Lugë-Shalqiza and Rozavera belong to the former municipality and today's administrative unit of Bërzhita (njësia administraitve) .
