Cave bears lived in this cave, which is 350 meters above sea level, around 400,000 to 10,000 years ago . Numerous bats still find refuge in the cave today . The cave is around 360 meters deep, up to 45 meters high and contains stalagmites and stalactites . A well-developed hiking trail leads from the village to the cave, hikers descend into the gorge, where they bathe in the river in summer.
