Börni , also called Börni Höhn , from 2014 Vava Voom , (born August 11, 1986 in Zurich ; actually Bernadette Höhn ) is a Swiss singer .

She became known through her participation in the third season of the talent show MusicStar in early 2007 on Swiss television , in which she was eliminated in the semi-finals.

Life

Börni Höhn took part in the casting show MusicStar on Swiss television in 2006 at the age of 20 and was fourth from last shortly before the final, although she was considered the favorite of the third season. Despite her departure, she got a recording contract with Sony Music Entertainment , where she worked with producer Fred Herrmann on her debut album Fighter , which was released on April 4, 2008. Through this contract she had to leave the band Evergreen , where she was a singer. The second album Plan B was released in 2010. This was followed by separation from Sony Music Entertainment.

Börni Höhn has lived in the USA since 2010, first in New York , then in Los Angeles . In August 2014 she released the pop song “Supersonic” together with US singer Sean Kingston . The agency Link Management and Production has signed Höhn under the name Vava Voom .

In addition to singing, Höhn works as a computer scientist.
