After a listed building was demolished, a new building was erected here. The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”.

The two-storey house, facing the Böttcherstraße gable , was built in the second half of the 19th century; in 1931 one was gables of brick placed. The brick gable was considered a testimony to the conscious reference to the medieval gabled house architecture of Stralsund.
