The building with the postal address Böttcherstraße 29 was a listed building on Böttcherstraße in Stralsund .

The two-storey , three-axle , eaves-facing house was built in the middle of the 18th century; in 1907 a large, roofed-over dwelling was added . A basket arched portal was arranged in the right axis, it came from the middle of the 19th century.

On August 4, 1999, the neighboring house at Böttcherstraße 28 collapsed, and building No. 29 was also badly damaged, so that it had to be torn down down to the ground floor. In 2006 the rest was also removed.

The house was located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. In the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund from 1999 it was entered with the number 115.

The local branch of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) was founded in the building in 1891 .
