The office building at the Alte Oper (formerly known as Citibank skyscraper ) in the city of Frankfurt am Main is a built 1981-1984 89-meter-high skyscraper in the Neue Mainzer Strasse near the Alte Oper . The 20-storey building was designed by the architects Hubertus von Allwörden, Gerhard Balser, Roger Bundschuh and Rolf Schloen. The main tenant was Citibank for a long time , current tenants include Bloomberg LP , the investment bank Lazard , the law firm Herbert Smith Freehills and the Bank of Communications .
