The association was founded in 1994 and was part of the Tyrolean drug concept. It offered drug-endangered and addicted people and their caregivers professional information, advice, treatment, care and mediation as well as follow-up care. It was an institution recognized by the Federal Ministry for Social Security and Generations , in accordance with Section 15 of the Narcotics Act, which ran an advice center in every district capital in Tyrol.
