B4.DA. $$ sold 53,990 times in the United States in its first week. This allowed the rapper to reach number 5 on the US Billboard 200 . The album was 11th in New Zealand and 17th in Australia. The rapper was also successful in some European countries. So occupied B4.DA. $$ 24th place in Switzerland, number 36 in Norway, 57th in France and number 69 in the Netherlands.

criticism

The Laut.de e-zine rated B4.DA. $$ with four out of a possible five points. From the point of view of the editor David Maurer, the album is a “ great debut ” that is “as expected full of Boom Bap nostalgia and Golden Era references ”. B4.DA. $$ is " certainly not a modern ' Illmatic ' ", but Bada $$ proves " in an impressive way that you can run a damn good run not only on new paths, but also on allegedly trodden paths ".
