BAM (musician)
BAM , actually Nathaniel Phillip Hall , formerly Afrika Baby Bam (born May 22, 1970 in Brooklyn , New York , United States ) is an American rapper , record producer , performance artist and actor . He was a member of the hip-hop group Jungle Brothers . It takes its name from Afrika Bambaataa .
Career
With Jungle Brothers
BAM became a member of the Jungle Brothers group . The group was founded in 1986 with Mike G. and Sammy B., both friends from Brooklyn. Their first hit was Straight out the Jungle , followed by I'll House You . BAM received support from Queen Latifah and Q-Tip both members of Native Tongues . The Jungle Brothers' first concert was in celebration of Nelson Mandela's release at Wembley Stadium.
solo
BAM performed primarily in Massachusetts when he started his new production company, Ravensclaw Productions. He is a member of a movement called the Pagan Society . He came from the traditional hip-hop scene to many collaborations and musicals. In 2014 and 2015 he released an EP and an album with the Austrian producer Mr. Dero.
