The steam locomotive series BEB V was a passenger train - steam locomotive series of the Buschtěhrad Railway Company (BEB).

history

The 20 type 1B passenger locomotives procured by the BEB were made by the Sächsische Maschinenfabrik . Richard Hartmann in Chemnitz between 1870 and 1872. They were classified as BEB V and were given the company numbers 1-20.

In terms of their dimensions, the machines of the kkStB 23 series of the kk Austrian State Railways were similar .

After the nationalization in 1923, all 20 machines came to the Czechoslovak State Railways (ČSD), which gave them the series designation 232.2 and retired them by 1931.
