BOB Born

BOB Born (* 1957 as Christian Bob Born ) is a German cartoonist and illustrator . He made his middle name in the spelling "BOB" his logo and artist name. His pictures (cartoons, caricatures, pictures jokes) sketching everyday scenes and dialogues and use diverse forms of humor (eg. Puns , nonsense , puns , innuendo ); many of them belong to series (e.g. "BOB's hard walks", "anti-frustration" or "cousin Hugo & Base Litz").

life and work

Born lives in Freiburg . He studied biology and pharmacology . He has been a freelance cartoonist and illustrator since 1986.

His drawings appear regularly in medical newspapers such as “ Medical Tribune ”, in socially oriented newspapers such as “ Orientation ” or “Social Workers Letter” as well as irregularly in newspapers (e.g. such as “Badische Zeitung”), magazines (e.g. “Apotheken Umschau "), Books, calendars, teaching and exercise materials, etc. Ä.

His main topics are medicine and communication as well as increasingly social issues (e.g. disability, integration and inclusion ).
