Bağlar (kurd. Nehri ) is a village in the Şemdinli district of the Turkish province of Hakkâri . Bağlar is located in the border triangle in southeastern Anatolia at 1,390 m above sea level, approx. 13 km west of Şemdinli.
The current name of the village of Bağlar means vineyards or gardens . The original name was Nehri. This name is still used and is registered with the land registry.
In 1985 417 people lived in Bağlar. In 2009 the village had 829 inhabitants.
Bağlar is located on a small river. Fish farming is also practiced in the village. The former Nehri was the home village and ancestral seat of the so-called Nehri Sheikhs or Sadate Nehri . One of the most famous representatives was Sheikh Ubeydallah . In and around the village are the Türbes of various Sayyids , including the burial place of Seyit Taha. About 4 km away from the village there is a well-known 11 m high stone bridge. To the west of today's buildings are the ruins of Kayme Castle.
