Baak is a small village in the municipality of Bronckhorst in the Achterhoek in the Dutch province of Gelderland .

Baak was founded around 1190 as a hamlet ( Dutch buurtschap ). Today's village has a neo-Gothic church that is quite large for its small number of inhabitants .

In the village is the Huis Baak castle , one of the many castles in this part of the Achterhoek. The manor house and the surrounding park can be visited by arrangement.
