Baba Diawara (born January 5, 1988 in Dakar ; civil Papa Babacar Diawara ) is a Senegalese soccer player .
Career
Baba Diawara moved from ASC Jeanne d'Arc to Marítimo Funchal in 2007 . In his first season in Europe, Baba played mainly for Marítimo's second team. In the following season 2008/09 he established himself as a regular in the first team and came in the Primeira Liga on ten goals this season.
On January 22, 2012 Baba moved to Sevilla FC . In the summer of 2013 he was loaned to UD Levante . From September 1, 2014 he played for Getafe FC until the end of the season and again for Marítimo Funchal from July 1, 2015 .
Diawara has been playing for the Australian A-League club Adelaide United since February 2017 and received a two-year contract in the summer of 2017.
