Babak Saed

Babak Saed (* 1965 in Mashhad , Iran) is an installation , media and concept artist . He lives and works in Bonn.

In 1994 he completed his studies in economics with a degree in economics. His artistic career began in 1998 when he realized an installation and performance with the “Office for Video and Installations in Public Space”. Since 2004 he has taken part in several competitions, especially in the field of art in architecture . He was able to win some of these competitions and implement the concepts.

In 2000, he received the City of Bonn Art Prize for his video Inner Monologue of a Stutterer .

Wall work

Saed works with the media light ( neon , LED ), acrylic glass, steel, titanium, carpet and embroidery in his wall works . He creates the works in small editions, often three copies.
