Bachern am Wörthsee (officially: Bachern a.Wörthsee ) is a district of the municipality of Inning am Ammersee in the Upper Bavarian district of Starnberg .

The village is located southeast of the core village inning directly on the northwest shore of 4.34 km² Wörth lake on the district Buch am Ammersee . At the northern edge of the village, the Inninger Bach flows into the Wörthsee. In the west lies the Kühberg ( 587  m ).

history

The place originally belonged to the municipality of Buch (am Ammersee), which was incorporated into Inning am Ammersee in 1975 as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
