Badrul Hisham Abdul Manap (born January 2, 1997 in Malacca ) is a Malaysian athlete who specializes in sprinting .

Athletic career

Badrul Hisham Abdul Manap gained his first international experience at the Junior Asian Championships 2014 in Taipei , where he was eliminated over 100 meters in the first round and took fourth place with the Malaysian 4 x 100 meter relay. Two years later he won the silver medal with the relay at the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City and finished fifth over 100 meters. He then took part over 100 meters in the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz , Poland , where he was eliminated in the first round with 10.66 s. In 2017 he took part in the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar over 400 meters and was eliminated in the semifinals there. In addition, he finished fifth with the Malaysian relay in 39.98 s. At the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur , he finished fourth with the 4 by 100 meter relay and the 4 by 400 meter relay. In 2018 he took part in the Commonwealth Games in the Australian Gold Coast for the first time and finished seventh with the Malaysian relay.

In 2017, Abdul Manap became the Malaysian champion with the 4 x 100 meter relay.
