Baghdad is a settlement of the urban-and-rural municipality Wyrzysk in the powiat Pilski of the Greater Poland Voivodeship , Poland . It is located about 4 km northeast of the place Wyrzysk ( German Wirsitz ), 39 km east of Piła (Schneidemühl) and 90 km north of the voivodeship capital Posen . In 2006 Baghdad had 120 inhabitants.
history
Before the Second World War, Baghdad was an estate with a mansion in the neo-Gothic style. The owner was the Polish politician Mieczysław Chłapowski . There has been a stud on the estate since the 20th century .
From 1975 to 1998 the settlement and commune belonged to the Piła Voivodeship .
