location

The train station is located in the center of Hude (Oldenburg) . It is only an intermediate stop on the Bremen – Oldenburg and Hude – Blexen railway lines , as the RS4 trains in the direction of Nordenham are connected to Bremen and do not end in Hude.

history

The station was opened in 1867 together with the Bremen – Oldenburg line. In 1873 the first section of the Hude – Blexen line to Brake was put into operation. In 2010 the regional S-Bahn Bremen / Lower Saxony was set up, which Hude serves with the lines RS3 and RS4 every hour.

Station facilities

The station has two island platforms with a total of four platform tracks, which can be reached via a north or south entrance. A station building existed on the northern island platform until 2012, but was demolished from 2012 to 2013. Although the Hude station is a wedge station , it still has switches after the track fork, which, however, does not connect all the tracks.
