The Villach Warmbad Station is a place of business on the railway line Villach-Rosenbach in the municipality of Villach in the district Warmbad-Judendorf in Carinthia , Austria .

Reception building in 1913

The station was opened on November 25, 1873 with the Villach - Tarvis section of the Rudolfsbahn .

The bus stop is directly opposite the KärntenTherme . Platform 2/3 can be reached via an underpass.

The reception building from the second half of the 19th century is a type construction according to rule type D of the Rudolfsbahn . The main building has a cruciform floor plan and is 16.76 meters long and 6.64 meters wide. To the north is a narrower extension with half-timbered supports, in which there is a half-open waiting hall. The reception building is a listed building .

Since the timetable change in 2016/17, the regional train to Kötschach-Mauthen no longer runs. Instead, the S-Bahn line 4 to Hermagor was set up.
