The station Zehdenick (Mark) is the railway station in the town Zehdenick in Oberhavel . The station building is a listed building .
location
Zehdenick (Mark) train station is located at 57.7 km of the railway line from Löwenberg (Mark) to Templin and is about one and a half kilometers west of the city center. It borders on Eisenbahnstraße and Am Bahndamm . The mountain village railway station is located about six kilometers southwest. To the north is the nearest train station Zehdenick-Neuhof , which is about three and a half kilometers away. In addition to Bergsdorf, Zehdenick-Neuhof and Vogelsang, the train station is one of four railway stations in the area of the city of Zehdenick. The operating point is in the area of the Berlin-Brandenburg transport association .
history
In 1981 six trains from the direction of Löwenberg (Mark) served the station at 7:04, 10:35, 16:09, 19:11, 20:43 and 22:33. These ended in Templin . Five trains ran in the opposite direction. These came from Templin and ended in Löwenberg (Mark) and drove to Zehdenick at 4:56, 8:38, 13:17, 17:38 and 21:51.
On July 10, 2010 work began on renovating the platform roof and installing new lighting and a guidance system. In spring 2011, the entire station was modernized. Dynamic font indicators were also installed. A total of € 470,000 was invested from federal, state and own funds. In June 2011 the electronic signal box in Zehdenick went into operation.
The station building was auctioned in December 2014. The minimum bid was € 12,000.

Platforms and tracks
The station has two side platforms , both 100 m long and 55 cm high, one of which is between the two tracks. The loading tracks south of the reception building were removed.
Reception building
The listed entrance building dates from 1888. 1901 and 1910, further modifications followed. The two-story brick building has a saddle roof .
Other plants
In addition, there is a single-storey goods shed in Zehdenick made of half-timbered and brick infill with a gable roof from 1888.
There is a round-shaped, single-storey toilet block on the station forecourt. It also dates from 1888.
Another outbuilding was built around 1930. It is a single-storey building with a pitched roof made of plain tiles based on the principle of crown covering .

Zehdenick station is an intermediate station on the RB 12 regional train line , where trains meet just before the hour.
