The Kłodzko – Stronie Śląskie railway is a branch line in Poland . It branches off at Kłodzko ( Glatz ) from the main line Wrocław – Międzylesie (Breslau – Mittelwalde) and leads in Lower Silesia in the valley of the Biała Lądecka ( Biele ) via Lądek-Zdrój ( Bad Landeck ) to Stronie Śląskie ( Seitenberg ). Before 1945 the line was also known as the Bieletalbahn .

The line was opened on November 14, 1897 by the Prussian State Railways .

At the end of the Second World War - on May 7, 1945 - a bridge near Seitenberg was destroyed during the fighting.

The line was probably put back into operation after the end of the war by German railway personnel under the supervision of the Soviet occupying forces. From June 1, 1945, passenger trains returned to Olbersdorf . The entire line went back into operation on July 31, 1945. In the summer of 1945 the line was handed over to the Polish State Railways PKP by the Soviet occupying forces .

Passenger traffic, which was last maintained with two pairs of trains, was discontinued on March 15, 2004. Until July 1, 2005, the train rides operated as a bus in the rail replacement service. On August 22, 2007, freight traffic between Ołdrzychowice SZKB and Stronie Śląskie was also stopped. This section of the route was closed on April 25, 2010. Freight traffic to Ołdrzychowice SZKB is still taking place as required.

On the part of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship as the responsible authority for local public transport, the route is planned to be recommissioned by 2023.
