Swell:

The Randers – Hadsund railway was a standard gauge railway in Denmark in North Jutland . It was operated by the private Danish railway company Randers-Hadsund Jernbane (RHJ). The line was opened on October 10, 1883.

The line was a local railway in East Jutland between Randers and Hadsund Syd. When the predecessor of today's Hadsundbroen was opened in 1904 in the form of a swing bridge , the trains on the Aalborg – Hadsund railway ran from Aalborg to Hadsund Syd.

Due to the increase in road traffic after the Second World War , the line was no longer profitable and was closed on March 31, 1969.
