The Bahra is a river in the Czech Republic and Saxony that flows into the Elbe tributary Gottleuba from the right near Langenhennersdorf .

The Bahra rises in the Eastern Ore Mountains west of the Czech village Panenská (Jungferndorf) as Petrovický potok . After about 500 m it crosses under the D8 motorway . It flows further in a north-easterly direction through Petrovice before it after about 7.5 km to about 420 m above sea level. NN German territory reached. Here it forms the border water for about 350 m and then bends to the northwest, taking in the Loschebach . After about 700 m there is the Buschbach flood retention basin , which is designed as a drying basin. In Hellendorf it takes up the Mordgrundbach coming from the left , which rises with its source stream Slatina not far from the Bahra. The officially called Bahra from here on now runs parallel to the state road . North Markersbach , open out at the end of the town more tributaries, the Bahra flows through a carved valley between the already from Elbsandstein embossed full forms Heuleithe , Eibischsteine , Zeisigstein and pulls together with a county road by her eponymous village Bahra before southwest of Langenhennersdorf to about 275 m ü. NN flows into the Gottleuba.
