Baketamun , also Beketamun or often just Baket in short, was a daughter of King ( Pharaoh ) Thutmose III. in the 18th Dynasty ( New Kingdom ).
Her name is mentioned in a single line on a fragment of faience on a votive offering of her servant Amunmose (Amenmose), which comes from a wooden stick: An offering for Amun, by the craftsman of Princess Baketamun, may she live, Amunmose . The object was found in Deir el-Bahari and is now in the Brooklyn Museum ( New York ).
Another clue is probably a scarab from the British Museum . It is also assumed that Baketamun is depicted in her father's Hathor chapel in Deir el-Bahari. However, the inscriptions on a princess who is behind Princess Meritamun are no longer legible.
