The Baldegger water tower (also known as the Baldegg tower reservoir) is an observation tower on the Hundsbuck in the municipality of Baden in the canton of Aargau .

situation

The concrete tower was built in 1985 and is 38.4 meters high. In 2004 the water tower was increased. 152 steps lead to the viewing platform . The upper third of the stairs are in the illuminated interior of the tower.

A hiking trail leads from the Baldegg restaurant to the observation tower in about 5 minutes.

The tower offers a panoramic view from the Black Forest to the Alps . Four panorama boards from 2005/2006 created by the Federal Office of Topography swisstopo inform visitors about the possible view.

The water tower has a reservoir capacity of 2 × 100 m³.
