The Baldenweger Buck is a 1460.5 m above sea level. NHN high elevation of the Feldberg in the Black Forest in Baden-Württemberg around 900 m northeast of the Feldberg summit.
The bald ridge drops steeply to the west, north and east into the surrounding valleys of Zastlerbach and Seebach . Only to the south does it change into a flat, 1,452.8 m high saddle, with a slight loss of altitude , which connects the Baldenweger Buck with the Feldberg summit.
With its low dominance of 520 m and a notch height of only 7.7 m compared to the Feldberg, the Baldenweger Buck does not appear as an independent mountain, but as a secondary summit of the Feldberg. Instead, either the lower, but more prominent Seebuck at 29 meters high, or the even more prominent Herzogenhorn (184 m high notch) are mentioned as the second highest peak in the Black Forest.
A marked hiking trail leads over the Baldenweger Buck from Rinken via the Baldenweger Hütte to the Feldberg summit.
