action

Nawin is the commander of a Thai special unit that carries out delicate operations on behalf of the government. One of those missions takes the loyal elite soldier and his unit to the remote border area, where he unexpectedly encounters heavy resistance. Without any additional personnel or even military support - the country's political situation has changed radically in the meantime; General Anusund is forced to withdraw the troops - if the special unit is more or less left to its fate. Nawin and his men are harassed and wiped out by highly armed drug smugglers, few survivors manage to retreat, including Nawin. In his home country he - like his comrades in arms - has since been considered dead.

Meanwhile, the situation in Thailand is coming to a head. In view of the ongoing financial crisis, the new head of government is planning a rigorous austerity course in order to repay the country's foreign debts with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) within two years . This unpopular measure is intended to stimulate the economy in the long term . Nationwide protests and demonstrations are the result. A group of powerful business lobbyists and the military are also against paying the debt and are forming a secret conspiracy with extremely questionable intentions. The influential secret society succeeds in activating General Anusund, the former commanding officer of Nawins, for their "purposes". The experienced tactician and officer becomes the plaything of the business giants who ruthlessly plan the overthrow of the head of government.

Meanwhile, Nawin and his surviving companions lead a rather bleak life. The soldiers declared dead are impoverished, unemployed and without prospects. You get on the wrong track. After an unsuccessful bank robbery that ended in a hostage situation, three of the men involved died in an exchange of fire with alerted police units. Only Nawin survived. He is taken into custody for a short time, but is freed by Anusund's people and hired for a terrorist cell , which consists of remaining men from his unit and the majority of brutal criminals. His ragged gang installed bombs in four central Bangkok facilities and informed the authorities in order to sabotage the upcoming solemn debt settlement. In addition, preparations are being made for the robbery of Thailand's gold reserves.

The informed Colonel Pakorn, head of the counter-terrorism task force, and Jack Rapong, agent of the counter-terrorism unit for international affairs, have to find the bombs, which are in reality only dummies, and defuse them. Pakorn noted with presence of mind that the four explosive devices were a clever diversion designed to distract from the central bank. Yet he cannot prevent the catastrophe. After the precious metal was stolen and loaded onto a truck, events roll over; the motives of the "national conspiracy" are now apparent. General Anusund and Nawin were supposed to put pressure on the government while their primary concern was the country's gold reserves. The "puppets" Anusund, Nawin and his other ex-elite soldiers are now useless, one tries to get rid of them. The general is murdered, Nawin's longtime companion decimated. The brave elite soldier now realizes that he has been betrayed and deceived. The existence of another bomb is revealed that is supposed to wipe out the government district.

On the run from the police, who are pursuing him as a manipulated terrorist, Nawin tries to find the unknown man with the last remaining men who can trigger a detonation by remote ignition. The police provide the terrorists. All of Nawin's followers die in the hail of bullets, he himself is shot by Pakorn. Before that, he managed to fatally injure the stranger with the bomb detonator - it was Jack Rapong. At the end of the film, Thailand settles all of its foreign debts; the criminal conspirators are arrested.
