The Baptism River arises at the confluence of its two headwaters, East Branch and West Branch Baptism River near Finland . The river cuts through the Canadian Shield on the north shore of Lake Superior and finally flows into it 7 km northeast of Silver Bay . The river overcomes the 18 m high High Falls in Tettegouche State Park . The Baptism River has a length of 14.2 km. The catchment area of ​​the Baptism River covers 218 km².
