Baptiste Jouty (born October 28, 1991 ) is a French biathlete .

Baptiste Jouty has been part of the French national junior squad since 2009 and won the bronze medal in the individual at the French junior championships behind Ludwig Ehrhart and Yann Guigonne . He made his international debut at the 2010 Junior World Championships in Torsby , where he was 26th in the sprint, then improved to 19th in the pursuit and came 28th in the individual. A year later , the Frenchman was in Nové Město na Moravě at the Junior World Championships 43rd in sprint races, 37th in individual and fifth in relay competition with Florent Claude , Simon Desthieux and Ludwig Ehrhart. This was followed by the junior races at the 2011 European Championships in Ridnaun . At the competitions in South Tyrol Jouty was 28th in the individual and 17th in the sprint race. The next international championships were the European Championships in 2012 , in which it was initially used with the juniors. In the individual, he finished ninth. For the relay race he was appointed to the A relay.

His first international race in the men denied Jouty 2011 in Nové Město na Moravě as part of the IBU Cup , where he was 68th an individual. Later in the season he won his first points as the 39th in a sprint race and 33rd in a pursuit race in Annecy . In the following season he achieved his best results in the racing series with 17th places in sprint races and pursuit in Obertilliach . The 2012 European Biathlon Championships was the first international men's championship. With the other young runners Antonin Guigonnat , Simon Desthieux and Florent Claude, he was appointed to the A-team of France and reached seventh place in the relay competition with this.
