Baranynzi (Ukrainian Баранинці ; Russian Баранинцы / Baraninzy ; Slovak Baranince , Hungarian Baranya ) is a village in the Ukrainian Zakarpattia Oblast with about 1,600 inhabitants.

The village, first mentioned in writing as Baranya in 1389 , formed an independent district council with the villages of Barwinok , Dowhe Pole and Pidhorb in the west of Uzhhorod Rajon until 2017 , on May 23, 2017 the village became the center of the newly founded rural community Baranynzi ( Баранинськомама сідарьсьska сідарьсьska сіданинська сідарьсьska сіданська ), this also includes the 8 villages Barwinok (Барвінок), Cholmez (Холмець), Dowhe Pole , Jarok (Ярок), Pidhorb (Підгорб), Strypa (Стрипiwа), Welyki Lasy (hanазик) , Welyki Lasy (hanазик), and Цигазик .

Baranynzi located on the banks of the river Towa ( Това ) about 7 kilometers southeast of the Rajon- and Oblastzentrum Uzhhorod .

Until 1919 the village belonged to the Austro-Hungarian Empire or the Kingdom of Hungary , then as part of the Carpathian-Ukraine to Czechoslovakia . With the annexation of Carpathian Ukraine, it came back to Hungary in 1938–1945. In 1945 the village became part of the Ukrainian SSR within the Soviet Union and since 1991 the village has been part of the independent Ukraine.
