Bardney is a small English town in Lincolnshire in the East Midlands of England.

Bardney is 10 miles east of the county town of Lincoln , between Lincoln Edge and the Lincolnshire Wolds , one kilometer east of the Witham River. It is about 45 kilometers to the North Sea to the east .
history
During the Second World War , the " RAF Bardney Airfield" was built north of the town . For a relatively short period of time, the airfield was occupied by numerous squadrons .
Attractions
- Bardney Abbey dates from the Middle Ages . It became a ruin with the dissolution of the monasteries under Henry VIII .
